| 12/6/03 We went camping off of the horses just like the cowboys used to do. We had some first time riders that had a little more than they bargained for. It turned out to be a great trip and we are currently scheduling our next trip. We try to go at least once a month. This trip was at the grass lands in Decatur Texas. | ||

This is Gary One of our first time riders. Dandy the horse had to baby sit him the whole trip. Gary had a blast and has already said he was definitely in on the next trip. To bad Dandy wasn't that excite
Here is one of the watering holes that are scattered
threw the grass lands. We had to take frequent breaks just keep everyone rested and ready. It was a long trip. Around 23 miles all together.
This trip was a blast. Cold weather and all. We just built a bigger fire. This trip was the first freeze of the year but when we schedule something we go anyway. If it is pretty and warm we just consider that a treat. We had 16 people on this ride but I would like to see that number grow. The more the merrier.
